Joseph Hubbard’s workshop at Hubbard.ART is home to handcrafted decorative objects, personal gifts and selected custom pieces. I work with wood and other materials to develop ideas for homes, displays and personal spaces.
From an idea to a physical object
Working with wood, selected metals and other materials, I create decorative pieces, personal gifts, models, displays and small practical objects. Some are individual experiments; others are carefully designed for a specific person or space.
Small batches, one-off ideas & personal projects
My workshop includes laser-cutting and engraving tools that allow precise components and details. I like bringing digital design and hand-finishing together. The result could be a wall decoration, a layered artwork, a display piece or a useful object with a personal touch.
How custom requests work
Tell me what you have in mind, the approximate dimensions, preferred materials and whether you need one piece or a small group. I can review whether it fits the equipment, materials and time available. Custom work is discussed and quoted individually.
Part of the same creative practice
These pieces sit alongside photography and graphic design because they begin in the same place: paying attention to an idea and wanting to make it tangible. They are a smaller part of Hubbard.ART, but an important part of why I enjoy creating.
